Seaside

Last weekend we went to Seaside, Oregon. we left early from school on Friday. We had to go to Seattle for my dad to drop off some metal then we went up to Montesanoe to my nana's to drop off the trailer. When we finally got to Seaside, it was 10:00 at night and we went to sleep as soon as we got there. The next day we went to the aquarium. It wasn't very big, but they had three octopi and we were able to feed the seals. Then we went to the beach, it was chilly and windy so we didn't stay very long. Next we went strolling through the shops. Then we went to Tilamook, OR and to the Tilamook factory. we got lots of ice cream and cheese. On Sunday morning we went to a HUGE arcade and played for a while. Then my cousins Maddy and Gracie came with my Nana and Grandpa Gary. When they got there we went and played on some bumper cars and had corndogs. Then we webt to the beach. This time it was warmer and we flew a kite, waded in the water, and built a sand castle. We went back to the hotel and had dinner. Then they went back to my Nana's an Lindsey went with them. A little while after they left. we went back towards the beach and rented little beach bikes for a hour or so. It was really fun, but very tiring. On Monday, we headed home.

Pig Update

On Saturday we weighed our pigs. By the way, I named my little pig Kira. Kira-Kira means sparkling in Japanese, so I thought I'd name my pig that. This is how they weighed out:
Leah: 81.4
Kira: 50.2
Junior: 127 (WOW)
Cheyenne: 46.6

We already know that Junior is already half the weight he's supposed to be in august and that he needs to go on a diet very badly. We've already thought we might need to get a different pig if he keeps growing at this rate. He grew 24 lbs. last week when he should've only only gained14.

PIGGIES!!!!!!!!!!

On Monday, we got to go pick out our pigs. I had already told myself that I would only get black pigs because they look nicer. I had also told myself that I wanted a girl because they tend to be better show pigs. There were only four big pigs left for the Grant County Fair, so we didn't quite get pick of the litter. For Grant I got a black with white pig, she was the only girl of the four and also the only one with black on her.She looks similar to the pig on the right.Lindsey's Grant pig is the brother to my pig, but he is GIANT and a blue speckled. For the Adams County Fair, we got to pick from about a dozen pigs. Mine and Lindsey's are almost identical black with a white stripe from the front leg halfway across the back. They are both girls and are adorable. we will be getting them probably next Monday.

Jammed Finger

Okay, today in P.E. I went to pick a volleyball up off the ground to put it away. As soon as I grabbed it, another kid kicked the ball really hard, jamming my finger. Right now it's all purple and swollen. I can't move it very well, let alone write with it.

Basketball

Basketball has just ended and we won 3 games total. It was a lot of fun, but I'm glad it's over. It's not my favorite sport (volleyball beats it), but it's a lot of fun. Our last game was Tuesday and we played in Connel. We lost 31-20. Afterwords we went to Time Out Pizza and had plenty of pizza and pop. I'll be able to have a long relaxing sports free Summer. I'm not playing softball,(running in the middle of summer doesn't excite me) but I'm hoping I can do stats so I can still hang out with my friends.
